The Pan flag is both beautiful and elegant in its simple design and straightforward meaning: as with the Bi flag, pink represents homosexual attraction, and blue represents heterosexuality - but instead of an area of overlap, the Pan flag includes the yellow stripe from other flags to represent attraction between and beyond that binary.

Some component images retain artifacts due to the way they had to be produced for us to have them now. I have not altered the images to remove these artifacts because they are part of the story of the amazing technological achievements that made these images possible, which is a significant part of what this flag represents: the human ability to overcome adversity.
